I wanted to take a moment to provide you with an update on the progress of the Mansion renovation. Garwood Lounge is almost complete and will open for business next week. I know that you will be very pleased with the new look, and I am sure that the newly configured bar will be a popular gathering place.

We have removed the Aviary cages from the courtyard as they were in terrible condition and several of them were ready to fall down. Temporary Aviary cages will be installed next week in the courtyard next to the Vanderbilt guest house and in the garden area located to the right of Rosemary's Cottage. These new locations are in great observation areas for all of our members to enjoy. Next week we will start work on repairing the drainage issue in the courtyard and install new tile. We ask for your indulgence as this work takes place as we may have to change the access to the Mansion to be able to complete the installation of the tile. We will make sure that the proper signage is in place and that we keep the inconvenience to a minimum.

As we move with the Master Plan, I will keep you abreast of the progress.
