Fisher Island resident scores in NHL opener

Fisher Island resident Sergei Gonchar helped the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins kickoff their defense of the Stanley Cup Friday October 2.
Sergei had an assist on the first goal of the season. It was a power play goal by Evgeni Malkin on the power play.
