Mr. Fred Fung has joined the Fisher Island Club as Club Manager. Effective Monday, November 10, 2008, Fred will be responsible for all Food and Beverage and Catering operations, the Island Market and Golf facility. With over 17 years of experience and an extensive background in Club Operations and Food and Beverage, Fred is the perfect candidate for this position.

Fred was most recently the Director of Club Operations at the Fairmount Turnberry Isle Resort & Club where he oversaw the Golf, Spa, Tennis, Retail and Pool Operations. Prior to Turnberry, Fred spent seven years with the Mandarin Oriental in Miami where he started as the Director of Catering and Conference Services and was then promoted to Director of Food and Beverage. Hotels Magazine and the International Hotel Association also voted Fred one of the top ten "Young Hoteliers of the World". We are very excited to have him as part of our team and look forward to his enthusiasm and customer focused management style.

I also want to take this opportunity to announce that Hieko Dobrikow has been promoted to Resort Manager effective Monday, November 10, 2008. Heiko will be responsible for Hotel Operations, Hotel Sales, Tennis, Marina, Aviary and Laundry. Heiko has been a very dedicated team player and has really embraced making Fisher Island a world-class residential community and club. Heiko has extensive knowledge in tennis operations. He is certified with the National Tennis Association, worked as a Tennis Pro with the University of Kansas and Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence, Kansas and was a member of the Tennis Club in Osterode am Harz, Germany. Heiko has also worked at several resorts that have Tennis operations including the Marriott's Bay Point Resort Village, Marriott's Casa Marina Resort and Marriott's Hunt Valley Inn and Resort. He is an avid boater and has been involved with the operation of the 133 slip Marina at Marriott's Bay Point Resort Village. He further assisted in the sales of the Fisher Island Mega Slips by traveling to major boat shows all over the world. We are excited to have Heiko's expertise and enthusiasm as he takes on his new responsibilities.
