Art Miami, the city's original and longest-running contemporary art fair and anchor of the Midtown Arts District, has ‘netted’ Fisher Island Hotel & Resort as its Official Hotel & Resort for the 2009 edition, held December 2-6.
“We are delighted to partner with Fisher Island Hotel & Resort as the exclusive Hotel & Resort for Art Miami 2009,” said Nick Korniloff, Art Miami Director. “Fisher Island Hotel & Resort, widely recognized among world’s finest hotels, provides the perfect blend of luxurious accommodations, personal service and incomparable amenities that our international exhibitors and collectors appreciate.”
Art Miami’s longevity and success position it as one of the year's most prestigious art world happenings. Accessible only by auto-ferry, boat or helicopter, the storied retreat, centered around the l926 historic Vanderbilt Mansion, features well-appointed villa and suite accommodations complemented by sumptuous dining, a stunning beach, two marinas, golf course, tennis center, spa, and fitness center.
